Maximal Oxygen Uptake Analysis (VO2max)
Workout smarter, not harder... and reach your goals faster criterion measure of aerobic power in athletes. The performance test will show what heart rate your Anaerobic Threshold (AT) occurs. By identifying your AT or threshold for sustained performance, you will be able to systematically train which leads to :
- Enhanced athletic performance
- Faster times
- Improved recovery and
- Avoidance of overtraining
Additionally, training or exercising at a heart rate that is just below AT has been shown to greatly increase the breakdown of fat tissue for fuel and weight loss.
Who should consider the VO2max Analysis?
If you participate in any sport in which aerobic endurance is a component, such as distance running, cross country skiing, rowing, swimming, and/or cycling, you will benefit from this test.
Caution: This test is a maximal test, which requires a reasonable level of fitness. It is not recommended for recreational athletes or people with health problems, injuries or low fitness levels. Appointment time is one hour.
