Incontinence Program

St. Anthony's Incontinence Program is directed by a licensed physical therapist trained in the evaluation and treatment of urinary incontinence. An individualized treatment plan is developed based upon physician recommendations, diagnosis and evaluation findings. Typically a patient is seen weekly for a total of 6 to 8 visits. Patient education, instruction in a home exercise program and functional goals are emphasized. Computerized reports provide objective data regarding pelvic floor muscle function and patient progress.

  • Evaluation of pelvic floor muscle strength and endurance
  • Biofeedback evaluation
  • Bladder diary
  • Bladder retraining
  • PFM strengthening exercises
  • Biofeedback training
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Patient education
  • Instruction for exercises at home

Providing treatment for:

  • Stress incontinence
  • Urge incontinence
  • Mixed incontinence
  • Functional incontinence
