St. Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary
The Auxiliary is a self-governing organization, consisting of men and women whose mission is to provide financial support through fund raising and service to their respective facilities and patients. There is no other organization in the hospital that can do the variety of things the Auxiliary can do with its hospital position, knowledge and involvement in the community. This includes not only fund raising, in-hospital volunteer activities and public relations, but new projects, services, ideas and concepts. This ability to use imagination, enthusiasm, organization and tact to help the hospital is the essence of the Auxiliary. Membership is open to any person interested in joining their activities.
Our gift shop is one of our largest sources of fund raising, and we also hold many vendor sales. The Auxiliary also hosts a variety of events, including the Fall Luncheon and Fashion Show, White Elephant Sale and our Salute to Administrative Professionals.
The purpose of the Auxiliary is to aid, support and assist St. Anthony's Hospital in furthering the charitable and educational activities of the hospital and to conduct business consistent with the purpose and mission of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.
