A New Year Can Mean A New You With Help From St. Anthony's Sports Medicine Experts

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (January 12, 2011) – Many new year’s resolutions involve losing weight with exercise. To help many achieve their goals, St. Anthony’s sports medicine experts will share tips during “Get Going and Stay Motivated,” a sports medicine lecture on starting a new exercise program and maintaining the routine.

John Gross, MD, who is board-certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, and Victor Lizardi, ACSM certified health and fitness specialist, will present, “Get Going and Stay Motivated: How To Avoid Common Injuries When Starting an Exercise Program.” The sports medicine lecture is scheduled for Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Carillon Outpatient Center. Lecture attendees will learn proper techniques to avoid common injuries.
