St. Anthony’s Offers Screenings on Diabetes Alert Day
What: St. Anthony’s Hospital is offering free diabetes risk assessments, blood glucose monitoring and blood pressure checks to mark Diabetes Alert Day on March 27, 2012.
Nearly 26-million Americans suffer with diabetes – more than 8 percent of the U.S. population. Of those, seven million do not know that they have the disease.
In observance of this day, stop by the St. Anthony’s Hospital Main Lobby to learn about your risk for diabetes. Everyone is welcome. It is recommended that you fast before the diabetes screening.
