St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation Medallion Gala Celebrates the Triathlon

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (March 26, 2012) – Just a week after the St. Anthony’s Triathlon, the St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation will celebrate the race and the spirit of sport at its annual Medallion Gala on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Tickets are available now for the gala, which will be held in the Palm Court Ballroom of the Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club, 501 Fifth Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.

The annual black-tie optional gala will begin at 6 p.m. and features cocktails, dinner, a silent auction and dancing with live music from the Paradise Band of Orlando. Silent auction items include hotel stays and weekend getaways at the Gilchrist Club in Trenton, Fla., and the Don Cesar on St. Pete Beach; golf packages, theater tickets and in-home wine parties. Proceeds from the event will support Women’s Health Services and St. Anthony’s Sports Medicine.

“St. Anthony’s Hospital was built on the foundation of caring for the health of our community,” said Michael Faehner, St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation chairman. “This year’s gala will continue that more than 80-year legacy by providing services to those who need them most.”

Tickets are $225 per person. Event and table sponsorships also are available.
